  1. Chop Italian sausage and chorizo and cook till browned, add chopped onion and continue to stir. Once onions are soft add in the crushed garlic, tomatoes, tomato puree and a small amount of water (50ml), if you want the sauce to be a little better add slightly more water and let it simmer for longer.
  2. Add in a small amount of dark chocolate, too much dark chocolate will cause a thicker sauce and will detract from the sauce.
  3. After stirring for a few minutes add in the basil, oregano, salt sugar, chilli flakes and pepper. Stir for a a few minutes as it's brought to the boil then add red wine. Continue to stir on a low heat for one hour ensuring it doesn't burn.
  4. After sauce has been simmered for at least 45 minutes boil the spaghetti, serve it and add the sauce. Grate a little Parmesan cheese over the sauce and serve! Enjoy!
