Instructions
  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, chopped garlic, baking soda and salt together into a nice sized bowl. Add the egg and beat, while adding the butter and parsley.
  2. Slowly stir in a little milk to make a dough consistency, then knead well. Grease a bowl and add the dough, cover and leave in a warm place for an hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 400f, gas mark 6. Take the warmed dough out of the bowl and place on a floured board. Knead for a couple minutes then split into 6 pieces.
  4. Roll the 6 pieces into balls, and then apply pressure to spread them out. Grease a baking sheet with oil and lightly brush the naans with a little oil too.
  5. Place the Naan on a baking tray and bake for about 8 minutes until puffy.
  6. As the bread rises parts will darken, that's fine. Serve, preferably with curry.
